ALYH ABOVE is a transdisciplinary artist and worldbuilder from West Palm Beach, FL currently residing in Philadelphia, PA. They create as a classically trained-vocalist, community raised writer, self-taught producer, designer, filmmaker, archivist, theorist, philosopher, and creative liberation strategist.

ALYH constructs multi-modal artistic research projects aimed toward studying, expressing, and reflecting on The Human Experience as Creative Process. At current, they’re actualizing profound artistic experiences that are reminders, affirmations and way-openers for human freedom and fulfillment.

In the near future, they’ll be experimenting with viewing Self as Algorithm/Platform as a way of researching creative liberation from oppressive technological systems. Their desire is to use those solutions to craft more sustainable models of living for those who society's current paradigms do not serve.

ALYH’s artistic practice juxtaposes solitude with intentional collaboration to highlight the connection between self and other(s), particularly how the answers to larger collective challenges lie within individuals and are tapped through self-expression and collaboration.
